I don’t think you know what autism is. It’s not a personality trait. It’s a developmental disorder. Like ADHD or other mental health disorders it can effect personality traits, but it’s not your personality as much as social media wants you to think it is.
It may not be a sickness, but if there was a way to help those in the autism community that struggle with severe cases to live fuller, happier lives wouldn’t that be a cause worth perusing? Granted this isn’t talking about a cure, but some kind of treatment or aid would be a good thing, right?

It is a core part of me and lots of other people. We don’t need a “cure” and the rhetoric around “curing” Autism is very dangerous.
You can cure a sickness. Autism is not a sickness.
