It may not be a sickness, but if there was a way to help those in the autism community that struggle with severe cases to live fuller, happier lives wouldn’t that be a cause worth perusing? Granted this isn’t talking about a cure, but some kind of treatment or aid would be a good thing, right?

I don’t think you know what autism is. It’s not a personality trait. It’s a developmental disorder. Like ADHD or other mental health disorders it can effect personality traits, but it’s not your personality as much as social media wants you to think it is.

Yeah a better society would help a lot of mental health and developmental issues.

Yeah the “I know everything about amateur radio” autistic folks don’t want a cure for theirs, but screw the non verbals, constant meltdowns and barely functional ones. Life is a breeze for them.
