    It is a core part of me and lots of other people. We don’t need a “cure” and the rhetoric around “curing” Autism is very dangerous.

    You can cure a sickness. Autism is not a sickness.

      It may not be a sickness, but if there was a way to help those in the autism community that struggle with severe cases to live fuller, happier lives wouldn’t that be a cause worth perusing? Granted this isn’t talking about a cure, but some kind of treatment or aid would be a good thing, right?

        The problem is that a lot of the Autism research is not done in good faith. It is all about neurotypicals trying to “fix” us
