I am pleasantly surprised that Amuro doesn’t seem to be relevant here
There was some drama last year with Amuro’s voice actor; something to do with sexual misconduct. It’s possible they’re deliberately avoiding using him for that reason. I hope we get a cameo in the background or something at some point though, just because I think many of us are curious to know what he’s up to in this timeline. I think the best time for that would probably be at the very end of the show, post-climax.

It hadn’t occurred to me, but I guess there’s no reason he couldn’t get into politics once his insane siblings are out of the picture. I don’t think he would though; presumably he’s happily married at this point and has a family to worry about (not that such a thing stopped a certain other character).
if Machu and/or Nyaan kill each other or otherwise die and then it cuts to the ending of them singing and dancing I will laugh really hard
