Just preinstall UnigetUI, call it Microsoft Store and be done with it.

They by themselves collect a ton of data about your location and driving behavior

Android Auto doesn’t work by the car having android in it. It’s a connector that allows android phones to display the Android Auto UI on the cars infotainment.

Also, with modern cars, android is probably the least of your worries.

It will likely be disabled during driving but it’s still a great thing. I got a big screen in my car, I was always annoyed that I couldn’t use it to watch YouTube videos when charging. This might help with that.

Edit: Actually says in the article that those features will on work while the car is parked.
