I think that what SpaceNoodle is trying to say is that the decrease in ocean salinity is correlated to a decrease in fresh water, so even though salinity is dropping, adaptations need to be made because we will run out of fresh water.

Alexa Davalos as Juliana in Man in the High Castle. She was like a black hole of charisma, absolutely draining every scene she was in. I found many of the characters extremely compelling, but as soon as they meet Juliana everything sucks.
