Brazil here. My ex wouldn’t date anyone shorter than 175cm and my current gf wouldn’t even look at me if i was under that height.
Brazilian novelas are full of cringe moments, but one in particular, “Força do Querer”, had a “cosplayer” character (picture). “Daijobu, mom, daijobu!”
When you consider how these novelas are made (50+ yo writers that have no fucking clue about current trends, but want to talk about them to the similarly clueless audience), the cringe makes perfect sense
Probably too many old fart executives that “know better”, plus directors or writers with a pet project that have to drop it and work on a “stupid game movie”

Getting off the internet as a whole for a number of days. Save some of that stuff for offline reading/watching and just don’t open the browser or any connected apps.
Getting off electronics once in a while is also good for your mind, let tedium in so you find something else to do, even if it’s thinking about things
