Remember when going to the Movies was an Event? Netflix wants to commodify this, so you watch longer, pay longer while you can do other stuff.
Ubisoft told her to ignore the harassment, as did her friends. Instead, she drew inspiration from the late civil rights leader and congressman John Lewis.
Ubisoft officials declined to be interviewed about the criticism of the game or the harassment Schmidt-Hori faced.
“We do not condone harassment or bullying in any form,” the company said. “We are committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment and we’re constantly learning how we can improve this process. We commend and appreciate Sachi Schmidt-Hori for addressing these topics directly and are grateful for her approach and expertise.
Wow Ubisoft, thanks for nothing I guess?
So I got myself three Tapes I was holding off for this special occasion:
I simply couldn’t pass off Tapes for a tenner :)
It sucks though that they can’t duplicate the tapes closer to me which would results in horrendous shipping fees (double the cost of the actual item? no thanks) :/
I guess discogs or your local record shop?
Or hope for your artist to have their own shop where they sell their music.
Or soulseek.
Happy shopping everyone!
Yeah I get that, I’ve been there. Its quite comfortable to use Spotify to get recommendations based on your played music. But there has been a solution before Spotify has been a thing: Scrobbling (as popularised by Last.fm) your Music.
Be it via last.fm and plugins to your music player or a different service like Listenbrainz all together.
I concede though that this process is a bit more involved.
And yes I agree with you, it’s weird.
Oh no! Streaming being an awful mess? There are solutions for that :)
they cant? mhm strange.
