I’m ancient, so never got into it.

It’s not quite the same thing, but I used to be a fan of Kevin Spacey, and can list at least five movies that he’s in that I really like.

As it turns out, the excellence of his professional work is utterly replaceable; I haven’t re watched any of his stuff, and backfilled any sense of loss with other content from other talented actors.

My advice would be to hold those memories fondly, but consider that chapter over. Moving forward, behave as though the author, and all her works died.

This is the answer. I made the same decision with regard to Eric Clapton. Yes, he’s a brilliant guitarist, yes, his music has moved me for my whole life, but he’s just one guy. Turns out the world is full of amazing musicians, and new guitarists are coming up every year. I fell in love with West African blues, and so many other flavors. Painless.

Piracy numbers are used as a metric to benchmark a shows popularity.

Plus, if you use any p2p platform to get it, you’re distributing the work too.

I am curious, how exactly? Because of Trakt? Because if that is one way then I am part of the metric 😁
