TIL there was a reboot.
I liked the original, was this one good? Or was it just another of those “milk the nostalgia cow” sorta things?

Probably only when Wendie Malick was on screen.
I thought this last season was much better than the first two. Once they got rid of the weak characters that really brought down the first season. But then again they seemed to want to shoehorn in the big names. But I am so glad we got to see Brent Spiner come back to reprise the role that launched his career.
Most shows best work are only 3 or 4 seasons.
See i find 6 seasons and a movie work best as long as the writers have their ending figured out before they begin the show we’ll really two are endings one to end the first season if the show doesn’t get picked up and the second ending to end the series.
I think after 5 seasons you start to see actors and writers phoning it in.
